About me

Hi, I’m Edriane!

Currently, I am pursuing a professional M.Arch at UBC as an extension of my educational background in environmental geography. In my last year of the masters program, I am working with select, like-minded students on robotic fabrication in wood for our graduating thesis project. My specific research interest under the topic of digital fabrication focuses on augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) technologies that would become a tool that meaningfully shift current architectural industry and its practices. Looking forward to deepen my knowledge and research skills in upcoming innovative projects while engaging with the public through our future prototypes and design!

When I’m not studying, these days I would probably be watching films and inevitably review them on Letterboxd for funsies… I also play a few instruments, mainly piano, and have done some amateur compositions when I’m bored. Recently, I have taken interest in swimming and video game development. Beyond traditional architectural work, I’d like to pursue creative outlets through games and set design.
